Please be advised that up to 80% of the hotels within Bangkok now charge for Thai ladies trying to visit a hotel room.

Many have security guards posted within the lobby and more importantly at the elevator banks to ensure that hotel guests not registered by name at the front desk will be confronted.

When an unregistered Thai guest is located, they will be asked to provide the name and room number of the person they are visiting to ensure hotel guests are not interrupted unexpectedly.
